Here’s a bit of our introduction and ourself…
We are 2M1C, NYP Semesteral Project for Semester 2. Our team consist of three members, mainly Hafidz, Adi and William thus, we hav e 2 Malay and 1 Chinese, therefore our team name is simple, 2M1C We are currently in year 1 and taking Chemical and Pharmaceutical technology (CPT) =)We are under the course manager: Mr Kwek’s SP group.
The topic of our Semesteral Project is Earth and Environment. Our group have decided to discuss and educate the public on Deforestation. We will be making a video, powerpoint slides, report and a short presentation regarding this topic. Our talk is mainly discussing about the causes, effects and solution on deforestation. Our report will be themore or less the same content but more detailed.
Why do we choose deforestations? It is because, according to: http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/newton/askasci/1993/environ/ENV040.HTM , the current deforestation rate is 5,800 per year! Sadly, this is is a very worrying rate… and there will be more too… Our group did the reasearch on this and that is the main reason why we chose this proble
Despite the negative effects of deforestation, there is still positive effects of it! More will be post in this blog soon! We will also do a research on an organization on who and how the public can help about deforestation.
